CSA Return/Cancellation Policy
Thank you for joining the WWFA CSA! We're excited to provide you with fresh, locally grown produce. Please read our return and cancellation policy carefully. Whenever there is reference to an “Administrative Fee” this refers to the time it takes us to adjust our information and schedule affected by changes or adjustments to the harvest, packing, delivery schedule, as well as recuperating payment processing fees.
1. Cancellation Policy:
Before the Season Begins:
Members may cancel their CSA share for a full refund (minus a 5% processing fee) up to 10 days before the official start date of the CSA season (June 26, 2025).
To cancel, please notify us in writing via email at wickedwellyfarm@gmail.com
After the Season Begins:
Due to the nature of our CSA, which relies on pre-season commitments to plan and grow crops, we generally will not offer refunds for cancellations after the season has begun.
If you are unable to continue your share, you are welcome to transfer it to a friend or family member. Please inform us of the transfer in writing with the new member's contact information. This means that the person you transfer the share to can pick it up at the same time/place you would have done so originally.
In certain circumstances (e.g., medical reasons or moving), we may consider a partial refund or credit on a case-by-case basis. A 5% administrative fee will apply.
2. Produce Quality and Returns:
Our Commitment:
We strive to provide the highest quality, freshest produce possible. However, as our produce is grown naturally and without chemical treatments, occasional imperfections may occur.
We do not offer returns or refunds for minor imperfections, such as slight blemishes or variations in size or shape. If you pick up in person you may be able to exchange items based on what we have available in our swap box.
Pick-Up Issues:
It is the members responsibility to pick up their share on the designated day and time. We are not responsible for shares left for extended periods of time, and will not issue refunds for shares that were not picked up.
If you are unable to pick up your share, please contact us at least 24 hours in advance to have someone pick it up for you, or we may be able to arrange delivery for an additional fee. Please get in touch for these details.
3. Force Majeure:
In the event of unforeseen circumstances beyond our control (e.g., severe weather events, crop failures, or natural disasters), we reserve the right to modify or cancel the CSA season.
We will make every effort to communicate any changes to our members promptly and provide alternative solutions, such as extending the season or offering partial refunds.
4. Communication:
All cancellation and return requests must be submitted in writing via email.
Please include your name, contact information, and a detailed description of the issue.
We will be in contact with the CSA membership about updates, changes, and weekly expectations and recipes through our members-only CSA newsletter. You can expect to receive emails from us on a weekly basis.
