What are Microgreens?

Microgreens are a super-food that provide a number of health benefits including cancer-fighting properties and an excellent way to boost Vitamin A, Fiber, Iron, and Vitamin K. Microgreens are young vegetable greens that fall somewhere between sprouts and baby leaf vegetables. They grow to approximately 1–3 inches (2.5–7.5 cm) tall and have an intense aromatic flavour and concentrated nutrient content.

Our introductory selection includes broccoli, red cabbage, radish, peas, and sunflowers. Microgreens add high-quality nutrients without sacrificing flavour or time to cook. They grow quickly with minimal maintenance so harvest and quality stays reliable and consistent all season long and even into the wintertime. You can add them as a garnish to elevate your dish or incorporate them into sauces, stir-frys, burgers, sandwiches, salads, wraps, and even smoothies.

How to eat Microgreens

Microgreens are very versatile and can be incorporated into virtually any dish.  Used as a garnish, on your burger, in your wrap, added to sauces and soups, in your smoothie or just eaten as snack.  The options are endless so get creative.
