MEAD MAKING & TASTING WORKSHOP

Thank yo to everyone who joined us for our first Mead Making and Tasting Workshop! Stay tuned for another workshop in January!

Join us for a Sunday how-to workshop on one of the oldest methods of making alcohol, MEAD! And sample our varieties of Maple Syrup, Lilac, Rhubarb & Classic Meads!

Christine will take you through a brief history of mead and then jump right into a demonstration of how to make a classic mead, followed by a tasting of our 2024 meads. You will also leave with a list of supplies that you will need to successfully make your first mead.

BBQ Pond Picnic - Saturday, August 24, 2024

We are inviting all our wicked friends (that's you) to the farm for a BBQ Pond Picnic. Bring your chairs, a cooler of frosty beverages of your choice and swim suits. We will grill up some burgers, sausages and hot dogs for everyone. This is a family event and the swim pond will be open for supervised swimming and we can give some tours of the farm as well. The pond is in full sun so it may be a good idea to bring a pop-up gazebo if you have one.

Gates will open at 3:00 PM. BBQ around 5:30 PM

There is no cost to this event, but we will be accepting monetary and non-perishable food donations to the Centre Wellington Food Bank.

Pig Roast by the Pond - July 27, 2024

Thank you for joining us at the farm for our first annual Pig Roast! It was a perfect day to host all of you in our pond paddock. Thank you to Liam Grier for the amazing entertainment and to everyone who joined us to make this day so memorable.
